‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew Asks Willow to Marry Him Yet Again-Is She Foolish Enough to Accept His Proposal?
‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that the week of November 24th to 28th, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) once again asks Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) to marry him.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Willow Thinks She Needs Drew to Win Her Case
We can’t imagine a world in which Willow thinks marrying Drew would be a good idea, especially after their last disastrous walk down the aisle.
The last time they tried this, Willow dumped Drew at the altar after finding out that he had sex with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Willow is, of course, out on bail, and Drew is determined to prove that the two of them have a bright future together.
Unfortunately, Willow thinks she needs Drew to help her win her case. Since she was arrested for shooting him, Willow may foolishly believe that accepting his proposal is a smart legal strategy.
Drew will likely promise Willow that he’s the only one who can keep her out of prison. It’s obvious that Willow has been staying close to Drew so she can beat these charges and remain a free woman.
Drew has been trying to coerce Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) into making Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) look as guilty as possible.
Some of it is because he doesn’t want to see Willow behind bars, but his ambition is likely driven more by his desire to stick it to Michael.
We think Willow is a red herring in this case since soaps love to toss them into the mix to throw viewers off.
It’s possible that whoever shot Drew may be the last person anyone would suspect. Of course, it could also be someone like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Drew May Convince Willow They Need to Present a United Front
At one point, Drew made the mistake of threatening Sidwell. He’s not someone to mess with. Let’s not forget he also had the judge who was overseeing Michael and Willow’s custody case killed.
We could definitely see Sidwell having someone do his dirty work and shoot Drew. We watched the way Sidwell nonchalantly shot and killed Professor Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard).
Sidwell tends to get rid of anyone who he sees as more trouble than they’re worth. Right now, we are leaning toward Willow not being Drew’s shooter after all.
Drew may convince Willow that the best defense strategy is to present a united front and show the judge and jury that they are on the same side.
While it may seem like the ideal solution from a legal standpoint, Willow rushing into marriage with the man she recently left at the altar may make her look even more unstable.
We also can’t tell how Willow truly feels about this man since she learned that he slept with her mother. Has she really forgiven him?
Willow would be foolish to put her faith in Drew and rush into a marriage of convenience. There are moments when Willow appears to genuinely trust Drew and wants to confide in him.
However, if Willow is harboring any lingering resentment toward him, their arrangement may once again end in disaster.
Spoilers indicate that this coming week, several characters will be shocked and outraged. We have to wonder if Willow agrees to let Drew put Lila’s ring back on her finger and marry him.
