‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Will Dante Cut Off Contact Between Rocco and Gio? Blames His Brother for Being a Poor Influence?

‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that in the November 17th episode of GH, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) once again lashed out at Gio Palmeri (Giovanni Mazza).

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: This Isn’t the First Time Dante Accused Gio of Putting Rocco in Danger

The last time Dante accused Gio of putting Rocco in danger was when he acquired alcohol poisoning from drinking too much.

Gio, being just a kid himself, thought he was helping Rocco by giving him some water and letting him sleep it off in the Quartermaine boathouse.

That was the first time we saw Dante truly lay into Gio. Yet, that was before he knew Gio was his son with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

In today’s episode, Dante told Gio that he should be the one in a jail cell, not Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). He was downright cruel to Gio, and it seems like he favors one son over another.

Gio and his girlfriend, Emma Scorpio Drake (Braedyn Bruner), recruited the Scooby-Doo gang to help them prove that Professor Henry Dalton (Daneil Goddard) was experimenting on animals.

We don’t believe for a second that Rocco should be the one in trouble. Breaking into Professor Dalton’s lab was Emma’s idea.

Personally, I don’t want to see any of these kids in trouble. Animal welfare is a worthy cause that I strongly believe in.

Sadly, Rocco is taking the heat for the rest of the teens, and that’s totally wrong and unjust. Poor Rocco even sacrificed himself to protect Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzn).

Rocco is caught by Dalton

That aside, Dante has repeatedly placed the blame on Gio whenever something happens that involves Rocco.

We understand that for a very long time, Rocco was the only son Dante had. Yet he often treats Gio like an afterthought or a poor influence.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Dante Doesn’t Give Rocco and Gio Equal Treatment

Fortunately, Gio has the unwavering support of his mom, Brook Lynn, who appears to be much more understanding than the irate cop.

There is nothing wrong with exposing Professor Dalton for animal testing, but the teens should have gone about it differently.

Many fans are upset with Emma right now because it was her scheme, and she got everyone else involved. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibaud) even called her out today for Rocco’s arrest.

While that is true to a point, Rocco also believed in what they were doing. However, the teens could have gone to the PCPD with their suspicions.

Or Gio could have enlisted his mom’s husband, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), to help them bust the shady Professor.

Chase seems to be doing a lot of independent investigation these days. Fighting for animal rights is a much worthier cause compared to his obsession with proving Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) innocence.

It’s not like those kids don’t have several family members on the right side of the law. Also in today’s episode, Dante accused Gio of throwing Rocco under the bus to impress a girl.

Dante also spat at Gio, saying that all Rocco cared about was being part of his family, but Gio obviously didn’t care about being part of his.

We suspect this will lead to Dante blocking contact between Rocco and Gio, which would be a massive mistake. Rocco and Gio are brothers and care about each other.

Plus, Dante needs to start treating Gio like he’s actually his son. He’s risking alienating Gio for good.
