BBC Strictly exit ‘sealed’ for Amy Dowden and Thomas Skinner as couple dealt crushing blow

The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner is one of the favourites to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, and it seems he’s been hit with a cruel blow

Strictly Come Dancing star Thomas Skinner finds himself amongst the frontrunners to face elimination this weekend.

The Apprentice favourite, who’s paired with Amy Dowden, features prominently in bookmakers’ predictions for departure from the contest.

Ross King and Chris Robshaw also rank highly amongst those tipped to exit during Sunday evening’s inaugural Strictly elimination.

During last weekend’s show, the celebrities and their professional partners made their debut performances on the dance floor. Whilst nobody faced the chop, the judging panel delivered their opening scores for the 2025 series.

Nevertheless, one pairing will bid farewell on Sunday evening – and prospects appear bleak for Thomas and Amy, reports Wales Online.

Betway reckons that Thomas and his dancing companion could receive their marching orders from the ballroom contest.

The betting firm has also revealed its predictions for the Glitterball Trophy winner, with George Clarke emerging as the potential champion.

The YouTuber seems to have leapfrogged Emmerdale star Lewis Cope and his partner Katya Jones, who previously led the bookies’ winner forecasts.

Vicky Pattison also ranks amongst the top celebrities expected to reach the Strictly 2025 finale.

Supporters similarly suspect Thomas might be first to depart after this week’s routine announcement.

The reality personality will tackle his second consecutive Latin number, which traditionally proves more challenging. Tom and Amy will Salsa to “Bonkers” by Dizzee Rascal.

One fan remarked: “The song for Skinner… Oh, they want him out bad.”

Another viewer remarked, “Oh, Thomas is being set up for a fall.”

A third chimed in: “Two Latin dances back to back and Bonkers for a Salsa is a horrible song choice.”

Last weekend, the celebrities received their first round of scores from the judges, with Karen Carney and Carlos Gu emerging as the frontrunners.

Ross King was the unfortunate celebrity who received the lowest score.
